google’s doodle made me think of it.
amelia is the first woman to fly solo across the atlantic ocean in 1928.
she disappeared in 1937 during an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight around the globe.
to this day there’s no confirmation on what exactly happened and if her remains has been found.
such an inspiration. such a beautiful aura. such a strong woman.
